All day, Sunday at the Laura Simpson Clinic

We had a great turn-out at the Laura Simpson Hunter/Jumper Clinic on April 17th. The picture above is our very own Macaroni at the clinic. He did very well for his first time jumping higher than crossrails. The day began beautifully. At lunch time is was breezy and by late afternoon the winds had picked up, but it was not unbearable. Thanks to all of you who came out to participate in the clinic. We hope that your time with Laura Simpson was helpful and that you went away with more understanding on what to work on to get ready for the Hunter/Jumper Shows.

We are having our Second Hunter/Jumper Schooling Show on Saturday, April 23. If you would like to attend you can go to the Events page and download the entry form.

Lori, good photo of you and Macaroni. You did a great job in the clinic of working on hands and heels down at the jumps and it shows in this photo. anyhow i had a great time doing the clinic and meeting so many new people. thanks so much for organizing it all, you have a really wonderful place. i think that the one thing that i would change, if i were to do another clinic, is to separate riders based more on hunter vs. jumper, rather than on height jumped.

  2. Laura, thank you for your help. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to doing this again later this year.
