Last Tuesday, we had a spectacular evening at Miller Horse Farm. Betty Phillips, one of our boarders, introduced us to her friend, Roberto Dalla Vecchia, an award-winning guitarist from Vincenza, Italy. He was in the States giving workshops and performances and we were so fortunate to have him visit us. Everyone enjoyed a country-style BBQ, with hamburgers, ice cream and homemade apple pie.
After dinner, Roberto put on a small concert for us all. He was amazingly delightful to listen to and it was a real privilege to watch him play his guitar. This little get-together was also a thank you to all our boarders and friends. We hope you all were able to relax and enjoy the evening as much as we did. We would like to consider doing these kinds of things in the next few months while riding is minimal because of the heat. It was a wonderful treat to have such a talented guest performer! Thank you again, Betty and Roberto!
